Product Overview
This is a specialized liquid silicone developed for gypsum and plaster molding, with moderate softness to avoid breakage of delicate plaster products during demolding. It is a two-part room temperature vulcanized product, including tin-based condensation curing silicone mold rubber and platinum-based Addition Curing Silicone. The common 10–30 Shore A hardness range balances softness and structural strength, making it suitable for both large-scale plaster mouldings and intricate detailed components. It can be used for repeated casting and matches with resin, PU, PVC, wax and other casting materials, providing stable solutions for decoration, handicraft and industrial manufacturing.

Product Features & Advantages
The 10–30 Shore A soft formula prevents fragile gypsum and plaster castings from cracking during demolding, while providing enough toughness to support large-size molds. Excellent flow leveling helps capture delicate patterns of decorations and artworks completely. Low shrinkage and anti-deformation ensure long-term dimensional stability of molds. High tensile and tear strength extend mold service life and repeated casting times. The non-oily and bubble-free formula creates smooth surfaces for cast products. Platinum cured products have food-safe properties and high temperature resistance. The material also has good resistance to aging, acid, alkali and weather, adapting to long-term indoor and outdoor use.
How to Use the Product
Step 1: Clean and dry the master model completely, remove dust and residues to ensure accurate copying of surface details.
Step 2: Select tin-cure or platinum-cure silicone according to application scenarios, weigh base and curing agent at the recommended ratio and stir evenly.
Step 3: Apply the mixed silicone by pouring or brushing, ensuring full coverage on both fine patterns and large flat areas.
Step 4: Cure at room temperature until fully solidified, then demold carefully to protect gypsum products from damage.
Application Scenarios
It is mainly used for gypsum decorations, plaster mouldings, architectural elements and garden ornaments. It also applies to art crafts, furniture parts, Shoe mold silicone , tire molds, soap and candle production. The material is compatible with resin, PU, PVC and polyester casting, and can be used in vacuum bagging, wind turbine blades, ship hulls, FRP profiles, aviation and military fields. Platinum food grade products can be used for food contact molds. The product reduces the breakage rate of gypsum parts, improves molding efficiency and cuts down the cost of mold replacement.
Certifications and Compliance
The whole series complies with ISO 9001 quality management system and CE industrial standards. Platinum cured mold silicone meets FDA food contact standards, suitable for global food processing and baking industries. All formulations conform to international chemical transportation and import regulations, supporting bulk cross-border procurement.
Customization Options
Hardness can be customized within 10–30 Shore A, and viscosity, curing speed and color can be adjusted according to customer needs. Formula optimization is available for super large plaster mouldings and high-precision artworks, to adapt to manual production and industrial mass production. Packaging specifications can be selected from small jars to large drums, with vacuum packaging optional.
Production Process
The product is made of high-purity Silicone raw materials, through precise ratio mixing, closed vacuum defoaming, performance testing including hardness, tear strength and shrinkage, and standard filling and packaging. Each batch is inspected before delivery, with mature production lines to ensure stable quality and supply for large orders.
FAQ
1.Why is 10–30 Shore A the recommended hardness?
This softness range prevents fragile gypsum from cracking during demolding and maintains enough support strength for large molds.
2.Can this silicone be used for food molds?
Yes, platinum cured mold silicone is certified food grade mold silicone and can be used for food contact molding.
3.What materials can be used with this silicone?
It is compatible with gypsum, plaster, resin, PU, PVC, polyester, wax and other common casting materials.
4.Will the silicone generate bubbles on the surface of gypsum products?
The bubble-free formula and good flow performance can eliminate air bubbles effectively and ensure smooth casting surfaces.
5.Is it applicable for large architectural plaster mouldings?
Yes, its high tear strength and anti-deformation feature can stably support molding and demolding of large and detailed products.
