HONG YE SILICONE’s Liquid Foamed Silicone (Foaming Silicone Rubber, Silicone Foam) is a high-elasticity rebound core product, specially developed for shock absorption, cushioning products and high-elasticity scenarios. As a 2-component addition curing silicone, it is formed by chemical foaming of flowable Part A and Part B, formulated with elastic modifiers and rebound agents, featuring ultra-high elasticity, high elongation, good resilience, fine uniform closed-cell structure, no permanent deformation and elastic stability. It has an elongation at break of ≥500% and rebound rate of ≥85%, effectively absorbing shock and cushioning, quickly recovering shape after compression, solving the problem of traditional foaming materials’ poor resilience in high-elasticity scenarios. How to Use
1. Take Part A and Part B according to 1:1 weight ratio, stir separately to eliminate sediment, ensure no impurities (avoid affecting elasticity and rebound).
2. Mix and stir thoroughly for 3 minutes until homogeneous, vacuum degas to remove air bubbles (ensure uniform elasticity and closed-cell structure, no elastic loss).
3. Pour the mixture into high-elasticity component mold (paired with industrial mold silicone rubber), foam and cure at room temperature or by heating (heating helps enhance elastic stability).
4. After full curing, test elongation at break (≥500%) and rebound rate (≥85%) to confirm qualification, then use in high-elasticity and shock absorption scenarios.
