Product Features & Advantages
This silicone rubber boasts ultra-wide temperature resistance, enduring -60℃ to 200℃ without deformation or aging, adapting to harsh high/low temp working environments. It has almost zero shrinkage and exceptional dimensional stability, guaranteeing high-precision detail replication for prototypes and molds. Featuring strong tear strength, it resists wear and shearing, prolonging mold service life for repeated use. It offers high chemical resistance to aggressive resin components, with a smooth, non-sticky surface for easy demolding. As FDA approved food grade silicone, it is non-toxic, odorless and eco-friendly, safe for food contact molding.
How to Use the Product
Step 1: Thoroughly clean the prototype and molding tools to avoid cure inhibition, ensure no dust or contaminants remain.
Step 2: Accurately weigh Part A and Part B per 1:1 or 10:1 mixing ratio based on product specification.
Step 3: Stir the two components fully and evenly to get a homogeneous mixture, avoiding uneven blending.
Step 4: Conduct vacuum de-airing for 2-3 minutes to remove bubbles; if no vacuum machine, pour slowly along mold frame to prevent bubbles.
Step 5: Fix plastic/wooden plates around the prototype to form a mold frame, then apply release agent (detergent/soap water) on the prototype.
Step 6: Pour the de-aired mixture into the mold frame slowly, let it cure fully at room temperature to obtain a finished high-precision mold.
Important Notes for Platinum Cure Silicone
This RTV2 silicone adopts platinum cure system, which is prone to cure inhibition. Strictly avoid contact with Tin cure silicone rubber, sulfur/sulfide materials, amine compounds, pewter solder flux and related substances before and during use, as these will cause incomplete curing or non-curing. Always keep tools and prototypes clean to ensure normal curing and molding quality.
Application Scenarios
This high temp silicone is widely used for rapid prototyping (urethane casting, silicone tooling, vacuum casting), GRC/concrete molding, PU resin casting and general industrial mold making. It also serves as a safe food grade mold silicone for food contact molding applications. Its high temperature resistance and precision replication help manufacturers improve production efficiency, reduce mold costs, and ensure stable, high-quality output for both industrial and food processing fields.
Certifications and Compliance
Our High Temperature Tolerance Silicone Rubber holds FDA food contact safety certification, compliant with ISO 9001 quality management system and CE standards. It is non-toxic, odorless, environmentally friendly, and classified as non-hazardous goods, fully meeting international industrial and food safety regulations, ensuring safe use and global logistics clearance.
