Product Overview
Our Precision Craft Mold Silicone Rubber is a professionalRTV 2 Silicone Rubber developed for precision craft mold making and product replication. As a leading manufacturer of Industrial mold silicone rubber and liquid silicone, we optimize the formula for the high-precision requirements of craft production, focusing on fluidity, low shrinkage and reusability. Compared with ordinary mold silicone, it has better operability, higher mold replication accuracy, more mold turns and longer service life, perfectly reproducing fine patterns of crafts without deformation, effectively reducing production costs for procurement partners.
Key Features & Advantages
- Superior Precision & Low Shrinkage: Shrinkage rate ≤0.2%, ensuring high-precision replication of craft details, perfectly restoring fine patterns, complex textures and delicate structures without deformation, meeting the strict precision requirements of high-end crafts.
- Excellent Fluidity & Easy Operation: Low viscosity and excellent fluidity, easily flowing into tiny gaps of craft prototypes, suitable for making molds of products with complex or fine patterns; simple operation, no professional skills required, improving mold making efficiency.
- High Durability & Reusability: Good tensile and tear strength, high temperature and acid-alkali resistance, no swelling or aging, supporting multiple mold turns (up to 50+ times depending on craft size), reusable, greatly reducing mold making costs for procurement partners.
- Easy Demolding & No Residue: Smooth surface after curing, good release performance, easy to demold without damaging craft prototypes or leaving residues, ensuring the integrity and aesthetics of the replicated crafts, reducing post-processing workload.
- Versatility & Customizability: Suitable for small, medium and large crafts, compatible with POLI crafts, resin crafts, candles and other products; as a professional mold making silicone manufacturer, we customize hardness, viscosity and curing speed to match different craft mold requirements.
How to Use (3 Mold Making Methods)
1. Cladding Mold Method
- Prepare the craft prototype, clean it thoroughly and dry it to ensure no dust or moisture affects mold adhesion.
- Mix the silicone (Component A) and curing agent (Component B) at a weight ratio of 100:2, stir slowly and evenly to avoid generating air bubbles.
- Enclose the craft prototype with a mold frame, pour the mixed silicone into the frame, and place it in a vacuum machine for degassing to eliminate air bubbles.
- Let the silicone cure naturally at room temperature; after full curing, demold carefully to obtain a high-precision craft mold.
2. Brushing Mold Method
Brush the evenly mixed silicone onto the surface of the craft prototype in 2-3 layers, each layer dried before brushing the next; after full curing, add a supporting frame to enhance mold stability, then demold for use.
3. Casting Mold Method
Pour the mixed and degassed silicone directly into the mold frame containing the craft prototype, ensure the prototype is fully covered; after natural curing, demold, and the mold is ready for craft replication.
Application Scenarios
This specialized mold making silicone is widely used in precision mold manufacturing and product replication of various crafts, including POLI crafts, resin crafts, lighting accessories, candles, toys, art gifts, and products with fine or complex patterns. It is suitable for both small-batch customization and large-scale production, helping procurement partners improve craft production efficiency, ensure product consistency, reduce mold making costs, and enhance product competitiveness in the global craft market.
