Addition Cure Advantages

Addition cure crosslinks through silicon hydrogen and vinyl addition reaction, releasing no byproducts, linear shrinkage ≤0.1 percent, pad dimensions barely change. Major breakthrough for large size pads and strict dimension consistency. Fast curing: 10 to 20 minutes operation, 2 to 4 hours cure, faster than condensation 3 to 4 hours, shortens pad making cycle. No post shrinkage after curing, more stable performance.

Performance Parameters

34 plus or minus 2 Shore A hardness, slightly higher than 30A condensation, better stiffness shape retention. 18000 plus or minus 2000 mPa.s viscosity, much lower, better flow fills fine mold patterns, finer surface. 3.0MPa tensile, 8kN per m tear, 350 percent elongation. 9:1 mix ratio A to B, different from condensation 100:2 to 100:3, accurate weighing important.
