Inside Hongye Silicone Factory How Pad Printing Silicone Is Made From Raw Material to Finished Barrel

Hongye Silicone sources all raw materials from well known chemical companies including 107 silicone rubber, white carbon black, silicone oil and catalyst. Each batch undergoes testing for viscosity, volatile content, purity and heavy metals before entering the warehouse. Only qualified materials proceed to production.

Formula Development

The research team develops products for different customer needs. For HY-912 high tear grade, they optimized the rubber to filler ratio, crosslinking system and added tear resistant additives to reach 25kN per m tear strength while maintaining good rebound. Every new formula passes lab test, pilot test and production trial before mass production.

Production and Degassing

Automated mixing equipment blends ingredients under temperature control for uniform dispersion. Vacuum degassing removes all bubbles under high vacuum, directly affecting customer pad head yield. The entire process runs in a closed environment to prevent contamination.

Filling and Testing

Automated filling lines handle 1kg to 200kg packaging. Each barrel is labeled with model, batch and date. Before shipment, every batch is tested for hardness, viscosity, cure time, tensile and tear strength. COA reports accompany every shipment, with pass rate above 99 percent.
