New Medical Robot Skin Silicone with Anti-Oil Low Noise Performance

This new bionic Human Body Silicone adopts high-purity platinum addition curing system, without harmful by-products during curing, and fully meets international environmental protection and biological safety standards. The biggest highlight of this liquid silicone rubber is the triple functional optimization targeted at actual operation scenarios of humanoid robots. First of all, the material adds anti-sebum and anti-grease molecular components, which can effectively resist the erosion of human sweat, skin oil and daily grease. After long-term frequent human contact, there will be no oil film precipitation on the surface, and the bionic skin will not become sticky or absorb dust, maintaining a long-lasting realistic skin texture.

Secondly, we adjust the surface molecular cross-linking structure to reduce the surface friction coefficient of the silicone rubber to below 0.35. When the robot’s arm, elbow, finger and other joints perform repeated bending and torsion movements, the skin will not produce harsh friction noise, realizing ultra-quiet operation, which is very suitable for service robots, reception robots and home companion robots working in quiet indoor environments.

In terms of heat management, this robot skin silicone is given stable high thermal conductivity performance, which can quickly conduct and export the heat generated by internal drive motors and circuit boards, avoid material aging, hardening and performance attenuation caused by long-term high-temperature baking, and greatly prolong the service life of bionic outer skin.

In terms of safety performance, the new material has passed the ISO 10993 biocompatibility test, no skin irritation, no harmful volatile substances, low VOC environmental protection grade, fully meets the safety access standards of child interactive robots and medical simulation equipment. Different from ordinary bionic silicone on the market, this product has good compatibility with flexible tactile sensing components; the silicone material will not corrode pressure-sensitive electronic skin, and can realize one-piece casting and molding with the sensor module, ensuring that the tactile feedback signal remains stable after millions of dynamic movements.

In terms of processing technology, this RTV silicone maintains good fluidity, compatible with manual brush mold, vacuum pouring and LSR liquid injection molding production processes. The hardness covers 0~25 Shore A, which can be freely matched according to different parts: ultra-soft formula for facial micro-expression skin, moderate elasticity formula for finger and joint dynamic skin. We also support customized color development of various human skin tones, translucent and transparent colors, and provide personalized modification of thermal conductivity, friction coefficient and conductive performance according to customer technical requirements.
