The formulation contains 33% mechanically reclaimed silicone, delivering comparable tensile strength, tear resistance and transparency to standard virgin silicone grades, with around 30% lower carbon footprint. It suits continuous extrusion processes for cable insulation, rubber profiles and molded industrial seals, a widely used production route among Asian silicone factories. Many buyers previously hesitated over recycled silicone due to unstable surface quality and batch inconsistency. This grade solves that pain point with refined sorting and devulcanization treatment, supporting ISO sustainability reporting for OEM brands. As EU and US customers push suppliers to provide recycled content declarations, demand for recyclable silicone compounds keeps climbing. Formulators can blend the masterbatch with base silicone rubber without major equipment upgrades, lowering switching costs for molders. Industry analysts note recycled silicone will become a standard tender requirement for automotive supply chains from 2027 onward, pushing silicone compounders to build closed-loop waste recovery lines.
