HONG YE SILICONE Electronic Potting Silicone is a low-viscosity, two-component RTV silicone designed for LED street lights. Also called Electronic Encapsulation Adhesive or Silicone Encapsulant, it features a 1:1 weight mixing ratio, fast room-temperature deep curing, excellent waterproof and insulation performance, and UL94-V1 flame retardancy. Fully compliant with EU RoHS directives, it ensures stable operation of LED street light components in harsh outdoor environments for global LED lighting purchasers.

Product Overview

Our Electronic Potting Silicone, also known as Silicone Potting Compound or electronic silicone, is a professional waterproof and insulating solution engineered specifically for LED street lights. As an experienced RTV 2 Silicone Rubber manufacturer, we focus on industrial-grade silicone materials for outdoor lighting infrastructure. This liquid silicone outperforms ordinary Potting Compound, with strong adhesion, weather resistance and reliable protection, safeguarding LED street light electronics from rain, dust and temperature changes.

Technical Specifications

This two-component Electronic Potting Silicone (Model HY-9325) has Part A and Part B both as viscous liquid, each with a viscosity of 500±100 cps. It adopts a 1:1 weight mixing ratio, with an operable time of 30~120 minutes, basic curing time of 3~5 minutes, and full curing time of 24 hours. Cured, it has a Shore A hardness of 25±2, thermal conductivity of ≥0.2 W(m·K), dielectric strength of ≥25 kV/mm, dielectric constant of 3.0~3.3 (1.2MHz), volume resistivity of ≥1.0×1016 Ω·cm, and UL94-V1 flame retardancy. All parameters can be customized to meet LED street light requirements.

How to Use

1. Before mixing, fully stir Part A to evenly distribute settled black pigment, and shake Part B thoroughly to ensure uniformity. 2. Mix Part A and Part B at a 1:1 weight ratio, stirring thoroughly for uniform mixing. 3. Degas if needed: Put the mixed liquid into a vacuum container, degas at 0.08MPa for 3 minutes to remove air bubbles, then pour into LED street light components. 4. Cure at room temperature; basic curing completes before the next process, and full curing takes 24 hours (environment temperature and humidity affect curing effect).
