Product Overview
HONG YE SILICONE’s Liquid Foamed Silicone (Foaming Silicone Rubber, Silicone Foam ) is a flame-retardant & smoke-suppression low-smoke core product, specially developed for public places, electrical equipment and low-smoke flame-retardant scenarios. As a 2-component addition curing silicone, it is formed by chemical foaming of flowable Part A and Part B, formulated with flame retardants and smoke-suppression agents, featuring UL94 V0 flame retardancy, low smoke emission, fine uniform closed-cell structure, good elasticity and flame-smoke stability. It achieves UL94 V0 grade flame retardancy, smoke density ≤50 Ds, no toxic smoke, effectively inhibiting flame spread and reducing smoke emission, solving the problem of traditional flame-retardant foaming materials’ high smoke emission in fire scenarios. Compatible with most of our flame-retardant products, it is ideal for low-smoke flame-retardant components, smoke-suppression buffers and low-smoke scenarios.

How to Use
1. Take Part A and Part B according to 1:1 weight ratio, stir separately to eliminate sediment, ensure no impurities (avoid affecting flame retardancy and smoke suppression).
2. Mix and stir thoroughly for 3 minutes until homogeneous, vacuum degas to remove air bubbles (ensure uniform flame-smoke performance and closed-cell structure, no flame/smoke penetration).
3. Pour the mixture into low-smoke flame-retardant component mold (paired with electronic potting compound), foam and cure at room temperature or by heating (heating helps enhance flame-smoke stability).
4. After full curing, test flame retardancy (UL94 V0) and smoke density (≤50 Ds) to confirm qualification, then use in low-smoke flame-retardant scenarios.
