HONG YE SILICONE’s Liquid Foamed Silicone (Foaming Silicone Rubber, Silicone Foam) is a heavy oil-resistant core product, specially developed for oil-contact equipment, automotive components and oil-resistant scenarios. As a 2-component addition curing silicone, it is formed by chemical foaming of flowable Part A and Part B, formulated with oil-resistant modifiers and anti-swelling agents, featuring ultra-strong oil resistance, no swelling, no oil absorption, fine uniform closed-cell structure, good elasticity and oil-resistant stability. It is resistant to engine oil, hydraulic oil, lubricating oil and other heavy oils, volume change ≤1% after 72h oil immersion, no performance degradation, effectively resisting oil erosion, solving the problem of traditional foaming materials’ swelling and oil absorption in oil-contact scenarios. Compatible with most of our oil-resistant products, it is ideal for oil-resistant components, oil-contact buffers and oil-resistant scenarios.

How to Use
1. Take Part A and Part B according to 1:1 weight ratio, stir separately to eliminate sediment, ensure no impurities (avoid affecting oil resistance).
2. Mix and stir thoroughly for 3 minutes until homogeneous, vacuum degas to remove air bubbles (ensure uniform oil resistance and closed-cell structure, no oil penetration).
3. Pour the mixture into oil-resistant component mold (paired with industrial mold silicone rubber), foam and cure at room temperature or by heating (heating helps enhance oil-resistant stability).
4. After full curing, immerse in heavy oil for 72h to test (volume change ≤1%) to confirm qualification, then use in oil-contact scenarios.
