Product Summary
HONG YE SILICONE’s Durable Human Body Silicone for Prosthetics is a premium Addition Curing Silicone, also known as prosthetic silicone, human body silicone and Skin Like Silicone. As a professional liquid silicone raw material (not finished prosthetics), it consists of two flowable A&B components, featuring high simulation, eco-friendliness and durability. Passing FDA and SGS certifications, it supports room-temperature or heated curing, with customizable color and hardness, ideal for manufacturing high-quality prosthetics and simulated human products.
Product Overview
It’s important to note that we specialize in producing liquid Silicone raw materials, not finished prosthetics. Our Durable Human Body Silicone for Prosthetics is a Medical Grade Body Silicone and Platinum cured mold silicone, designed exclusively for prosthetics manufacturing. Composed of two flowable A&B liquid components, it can be cured at room temperature or quickly cured by heating. Before curing, it is a viscous liquid; after vulcanization with curing agent, it becomes a soft elastic material, perfectly simulating human skin’s softness, color and touch.
Technical Specifications
Temperature resistance: -65℃ to 200℃; Mixing ratio: A:B = 1:1; Operation time: 30 minutes to 2 hours (varies with temperature); Curing time: 2-3 hours (room temperature), tens of minutes (80-120℃ heating); Features: Food-grade, low linear shrinkage, easy operation; Customizable: Color, hardness, viscosity, operation and curing time; Compliance: FDA, SGS certified.
Product Features & Advantages
Our addition curing silicone stands out with ultra-high simulation—its color, hardness, touch and softness are highly similar to human skin, making it the first choice for manufacturing prosthetics and simulated human products. As a food-grade and eco-friendly silicone, it is non-toxic, odorless and physiologically inert, passing FDA and SGS certifications, safe for long-term human contact.
Compared with ordinary silicone, it has excellent electrical performance and chemical stability, resisting water, ozone and weather aging, with no corrosion and long service life. Its low linear shrinkage ensures precise molding, and easy operation (simple mixing and pouring) improves production efficiency and reduces manufacturing costs for procurement partners.
Application Scenarios
This versatile liquid silicone is mainly used as raw material for manufacturing silicone prosthetics, silicone implants, simulated human skin and simulated human organs. It is also applicable to silicone masks, silicone robots, silicone mannequins and other simulated human products, bringing high-quality raw material support to your production and helping improve your product competitiveness.
Usage Instructions
Mix component A and component B in a 1:1 ratio evenly, then pour into molds after vacuum defoaming. Operation time varies with ambient temperature, generally 30 minutes to 2 hours. Curing time is 2-3 hours at room temperature; heating at 80-120℃ can shorten curing to tens of minutes. We can customize color, hardness, viscosity, operation time and curing time according to your specific requirements.
Certifications & Compliance
Our Durable Human Body Silicone for Prosthetics strictly complies with international standards, passing FDA (food-grade safety certification) and SGS (quality testing certification). It is eco-friendly, non-toxic and odorless, fully meeting the import requirements of global markets, eliminating your compliance worries in international trade.
Customization Options
To meet diverse production needs of prosthetics and simulated human products, we provide comprehensive customization services, including skin tone and color matching, hardness adjustment (to match human skin), viscosity modification, and optimization of operation and curing time, tailoring the product to your specific production process.
FAQ
Q1: Do you provide finished prosthetics? A1: No, we only produce liquid silicone raw materials for prosthetics manufacturing, not finished prosthetic products.
Q2: Why does the silicone fail to cure? A2: It is addition curing silicone; ensure all tools are clean and free from condensation curing silicone residues, water, impurities or sulfur/phosphorus/nitrogen-containing substances.
Q3: Will incorrect mixing ratio affect product quality? A3: Yes. Please strictly follow the 1:1 mixing ratio of A and B components; incorrect ratio will lead to hardness deviation and affect simulation effect.
