Weigh Accurately Mix base and catalyst at 100:2 to 100:3 using an electronic scale. Error under 1 percent. Too much catalyst causes brittle pads, too little causes tacky surface.

Mix Slowly Stir in one direction for 3 to 5 minutes, scraping bottom and sides. Slow stirring prevents trapped bubbles.

Degas Thoroughly Vacuum degas 5 to 8 minutes until no bubbles rise. Voids in the pad cause ink leakage during printing.

Pour Gently Pour from one side and let silicone flow. Tap the mold to release small bubbles.

Cure and Demold Cure 3 to 4 hours at room temperature. Pry gently and rest 24 hours before use.
