HONG YE SILICONE’s Liquid Foamed Silicone (Foaming Silicone Rubber, Silicone Foam) is a chemical-resistant corrosion-proof core product, specially developed for chemical processing equipment, corrosive environments and chemical-resistant components. As a 2-component addition curing silicone, it is formed by chemical foaming of flowable Part A and Part B, formulated with chemical-resistant modifiers and anti-corrosion agents, featuring ultra-strong chemical resistance, resistant to weak acids, weak alkalis and common organic solvents, fine uniform closed-cell structure, good elasticity and chemical stability. It has no corrosion (corrosion rate ≤0.01 mm/year), no performance degradation, effectively resisting chemical erosion, solving the problem of traditional foaming materials’ poor chemical resistance in corrosive scenarios. How to Use
1. Take Part A and Part B according to 1:1 weight ratio, stir separately to eliminate sediment, ensure no impurities (avoid affecting chemical resistance).
2. Mix and stir thoroughly for 3 minutes until homogeneous, vacuum degas to remove air bubbles (ensure uniform chemical resistance and closed-cell structure, no chemical penetration).
3. Pour the mixture into chemical-resistant component mold (paired with industrial mold silicone rubber), foam and cure at room temperature or by heating (heating helps enhance chemical stability).
4. After full curing, immerse in target chemical (weak acid/alkali/solvent) for 72h to test (corrosion rate ≤0.01 mm/year) to confirm qualification, then use in chemical processing and corrosive scenarios.
