HONG YE SILICONE Electronic Potting Compound is a low-viscosity two-component silicone sealant designed for renewable energy storage equipment. It features a 1:1 weight mixing ratio, enabling fast room-temperature deep curing, with excellent adhesion to PC, PP, ABS, PVC and various metals. As a high-performance Silicone Potting Compound, it provides reliable insulation, waterproofing, flame retardancy and thermal conductivity, fully complies with EU RoHS directives, and ensures stable operation of energy storage components under frequent charge-discharge cycles for global renewable energy purchasers.

Product Overview

Our Electronic Potting Compound, also called Electronic Encapsulation Adhesive or Silicone Encapsulant, is a professional solution engineered specifically for renewable energy storage systems. This liquid silicone is superior to ordinary Potting Compound, with excellent high-temperature resistance, anti-aging and thermal conductivity, effectively protecting energy storage electronics from harsh outdoor environments and frequent charge-discharge heat.

Technical Specifications

This two-component Electronic Potting Compound (Model HY-9055) has Part A and Part B both as liquid, with a dynamic viscosity of 3000±500. It adopts a 1:1 weight mixing ratio, with an operation time of 30-120 minutes, basic curing time of 3-5 hours, and full curing time of 12-24 hours. It has a Shore A hardness of 55±5, excellent adhesion, thermal conductivity of ≥0.4 W(m.k), dielectric strength of ≥25 KV/mm, dielectric constant of 3.0~3.3 (1.2MHz), volume resistivity of ≥1.0×1016 Ω.cm, and flame retardancy of UL94-V1. All parameters can be customized to meet the strict requirements of renewable energy storage equipment.

How to Use

1. Before mixing, fully stir Part A to evenly distribute settled fillers, and shake Part B thoroughly to ensure uniformity and avoid impurities affecting performance. 2. Mix Part A and Part B at a 1:1 weight ratio, stirring thoroughly for uniform mixing to ensure stable curing and reliable protection. 3. Degas if needed: Put the mixed liquid into a vacuum container, degas at 0.08MPa for 3 minutes to remove air bubbles, then pour into renewable energy storage components. 4. Cure at room temperature; basic curing completes before the next process, and full curing takes 12-24 hours (environment temperature and humidity affect curing effect, suitable for industrial production environments).
