Product Overview
Our Electronic Potting Silicone, also called Potting Compound , Electronic Encapsulation Adhesive and silicone encapsulant, is a professional two-component potting material designed for MRI equipment. After mixing with curing agent, it cures into a solid form, providing comprehensive protection for sensitive electronic components in MRI systems. As a leading Mold Making Silicone and liquid silicone manufacturer, we tailor this product to meet strict medical device standards, effectively isolating MRI controllers, sensors and signal modules from moisture, dust, temperature fluctuations and electromagnetic interference.
Key Features & Advantages
1. MRI-compatible stability: Ultra-low volatile content and non-magnetic properties, avoiding interference with MRI imaging accuracy. 2. Wide temperature adaptability: Works stably from -60℃ to 220℃, absorbing internal stress from temperature cycles to protect chips and welding gold wires in MRI electronic components. 3. Comprehensive protection: Offers excellent corrosion resistance, waterproof, moisture-proof, dust-proof and shockproof performance, suitable for medical equipment operating environments. 4. Strong adhesion: Bonds well with PC, PMMA, PCB and medical-grade metals (aluminum, copper, stainless steel). 5. Premium medical-grade quality: Produced with high-purity Silicone raw materials, consistent with our platinum cured Mold Silicone quality control system, meeting medical device standards. How to Use
1. Before mixing, fully stir Component A to evenly distribute settled fillers, and shake Component B thoroughly to ensure uniformity. 2. Mix Component A and B according to the specified weight ratio for medical-grade precision. 3. Degas as required: Stir the mixed adhesive evenly, place in a vacuum container, degas at 0.01MPa for 3 minutes, then pour for use. 4. This addition curing silicone product can be cured at room temperature or heated; proceed to the next process after initial curing, with full curing in 24 hours. Ambient temperature and humidity significantly affect curing speed, so strict control is recommended for medical applications.
Application Scenarios
This Silicone Potting Compound is mainly used for encapsulation, sealing, filling and pressure protection of electronic components in MRI equipment, including MRI controllers, signal processing modules, gradient coil drivers and sensor components. It ensures stable operation of components in medical environments, reduces failure risks and maintains imaging accuracy. It can also be used with Rapid prototyping silicone to produce MRI component prototypes, accelerating R&D efficiency for medical device manufacturers. Technical Specifications
Available in addition curing and condensation curing types, it is a liquid colloid with good fluidity before curing. After curing, it has excellent thermal conductivity, high insulation and flame retardancy, operating stably at -60℃ to 220℃. It features ultra-low volatile content, high bond strength and non-magnetic properties. Key parameters (hardness, viscosity, operating time) can be customized to meet the specific requirements of MRI equipment.
Certifications & Compliance
Our Electronic Potting Silicone meets international medical device standards, backed by our factory’s ISO9001, CE and UL certifications. It undergoes strict quality testing to ensure compliance with the high-reliability and non-interference requirements of MRI equipment, gaining recognition from global medical device manufacturers.
Customization Options
We provide medical-grade customization services. According to MRI equipment requirements, we can adjust curing hardness, viscosity, operating time and curing speed. As a professional manufacturer of silicone potting compound and liquid silicone, we also customize formulations to ensure non-magnetic properties and adapt to the strict operating environment of medical imaging equipment.
Notes
1. Store in sealed containers to avoid contamination, ensuring medical-grade purity. Use mixed adhesive at one time to prevent waste and performance degradation. 2. Non-hazardous, but avoid oral intake or eye contact; rinse with water immediately or seek medical attention if accidental contact occurs. 3. If stratification occurs during storage, stir evenly before use—this does not affect product performance or MRI compatibility.
