HONG YE SILICONE’s Liquid Foamed Silicone (Foaming Silicone Rubber, Silicone Foam) is a low permeability gas/water barrier core product, specially developed for barrier packaging, gas/water proof and low-permeability environments. As a 2-component addition curing silicone, it is formed by chemical foaming of flowable Part A and Part B, formulated with barrier modifiers and impermeable fillers, featuring ultra-low permeability, gas/water barrier, fine uniform closed-cell structure, good elasticity and barrier stability. It has a gas permeability of ≤5 cm³/(m²·24h·atm) and water vapor transmission rate of ≤3 g/(m²·24h), no gas/water leakage, effectively preventing gas and water penetration, solving the problem of traditional foaming materials’ high permeability in barrier scenarios. How to Use
1. Take Part A and Part B according to 1:1 weight ratio, stir separately to eliminate sediment, ensure no impurities (avoid affecting permeability and barrier performance).
2. Mix and stir thoroughly for 3 minutes until homogeneous, vacuum degas to remove air bubbles (ensure permeability uniformity and closed-cell structure).
3. Pour the mixture into barrier component mold (paired with liquid tank silicone), foam and cure at room temperature or by heating (heating helps enhance barrier performance).
4. After full curing, the product has excellent low permeability, ready for use in barrier packaging and gas/water proof scenarios.
