Product Summary

liquid silicone foam, also named Foamed Silicone or Silicone Sponge, is dual-component platinum addition curing RTV2 silicone rubber. It provides adjustable 2–7 times volume expansion, uniform pores, low shrinkage and good rebound, retaining soft elasticity at -65℃ to 200℃. Product Overview

Liquid foaming silicone is heat-vulcanized Addition Curing Silicone rubber. Flowable A and B liquid components react chemically to form lightweight, soft foam with pleasant touch. There is no thickness limit for end products. The cured foam will not migrate or atrophy, with stable long-term performance, suitable for bulk manufacturing and custom flexible silicone goods.

How to Use

1. Stir Part A and Part B separately to eliminate sediment before mixing.
2. Blend A and B at 1:1 ratio and stir for 2–3 minutes for full homogenization.
3. Vacuum degas quickly after mixing and pour promptly.
4. Keep away from inhibitors including sulfur, phosphorus, heavy metals and water.

Q1: What causes poor foaming or curing failure?

A1: Contamination with sulfur, phosphorus, tin or moisture inhibits platinum curing. Direct sunlight and overheating will also damage foam structure.
