Product Description

HYC-Silicone HY-928 is a high-performance two-component RTV-2 Pad Printing Silicone with 50 Shore A hardness, specially formulated for promotional products printing. This platinum-cured silicone delivers exceptional ink transfer, fine pattern reproduction, and long service life, making it ideal for printing on pens, keychains, USB drives, lighters, and other promotional items that require crisp, durable markings.

The solvent-resistant formulation resists ink solvents for longer pad life and consistent print quality over thousands of cycles, minimizing swelling and degradation caused by frequent ink contact. With superior tear strength of ≥22 kN/m, pads maintain structural integrity even under high-pressure printing conditions, preventing cracking and delamination during production.

HY-928 fully cures in 2-4 hours at 25°C without requiring oven heating, accelerating production turnaround and reducing energy costs. The low shrinkage rate of ≤0.2% ensures dimensional accuracy of silicone pads, so printed patterns stay sharp and consistent from the first to the last impression. The material offers excellent ink pickup and release properties that deliver clean, uniform prints every time, working effectively with both solvent-based and UV inks.

With stable performance across a wide temperature range from -60°C to 200°C, HY-928 is suitable for printing on materials that undergo post-curing or heat treatment. The silicone captures tiny details, fine lines, and small text with remarkable clarity — perfect for intricate logos, QR codes, and serial numbers on promotional products. Available in multiple hardness levels from 20A to 50A to match different surface types, softer pads work better on curved surfaces while harder pads excel on flat surfaces and fine detail work.

HY-928 lasts up to 30% longer than standard grade silicones, meaning fewer pad replacements, less downtime, and lower overall production costs. The mixing ratio is 1:1 or 10:1 by weight, with a pot life of 30-60 minutes and full cure in 2-4 hours at room temperature. Standard color is white or translucent, with custom colors available upon request.
