Made from premium silicone rubber raw materials and catalysts, HY-901 delivers moderate hardness, good resilience, high tensile strength and excellent abrasion resistance. With a hardness of 30±2 Shore A, pad heads made from HY-901 have balanced softness providing sufficient support while conforming to slightly curved surfaces, suitable for most flat and simple curved surface printing requirements. Tensile strength of 3.8 MPa, tear strength of 22±2 kN/m and elongation of 380 percent ensure pad heads do not deform or crack under repeated compression.
HY-901 is simple to operate. After mixing at 100:2 to 100:3 ratio, it cures at room temperature without heating equipment. Viscosity of 32000±2000 mPa.s provides moderate flowability for convenient pouring. With over 20 years of manufacturing experience and monthly production capacity exceeding 100 tons, orders are shipped within 3 to 5 working days. ISO 9001 certified with COA report for every batch.

Application Scenarios
Scenario 1: Electronic Housing Printing TV remote controls, air conditioner control panels, washing machine buttons, mobile phone housings, chargers, mice and keyboards all require printing of button symbols, brand logos and product parameters on plastic housings. These products are mostly flat or slightly curved with small printing areas but demand clear and abrasion resistant patterns. HY-901 pad heads at 30A provide balanced softness ensuring sharp pattern edges while slightly deforming to conform to gently curved surfaces. 3.8 MPa tensile strength and 22±2 kN/m tear strength ensure pad heads do not crack during high volume continuous printing. Many electronics factories achieved 30 percent reduction in pad head replacement frequency after switching to HY-901.
Scenario 2: Toy and Stationery Printing Plastic toys, educational toys, anime figurines, building blocks, pens, rulers and pencil cases all require printing of patterns, text and brand logos. Toy and stationery printing features large batch sizes, diverse shapes and high safety requirements. HY-901 offers high cost effectiveness suitable for high volume production. Pad heads have good resilience and uniform ink pickup, printing clear and vivid patterns on various plastic surfaces. The product complies with RoHS and REACH environmental standards with no heavy metals or harmful substances, ensuring safer use for toy and stationery products. Simple operation and convenient mold making allow factories to quickly produce dedicated pad heads for different product shapes.
Operation Instructions
Selection Guide HY-901: General purpose economical at 30A, highest cost effectiveness, for flat and simple curved surfaces, beginners and high volume production. HY-902: High abrasion at 30A, higher tensile and tear strength, for high volume continuous production, 20 to 30 percent longer pad head life. HY-912: Multi color universal at 30A, excellent ink transfer and overprint accuracy, for multi color overprinting and fine patterns. HY-916: Ultra soft high resilience at 14A, highest elongation at 570 percent, for complex curved surfaces, cosmetic bottles, crafts.
Recommended Application Most recommended for pattern transfer onto flat and slightly curved surfaces such as electronic housings, remote control buttons, toys and stationery.

FAQ Q: How many times can a HY-901 pad head be used? A: Under normal conditions, 50,000 to 80,000 prints. Actual life depends on product shape, ink type, usage frequency and maintenance.
Q: What is the difference between HY-901 and HY-902? A: Both are 30A hardness. HY-901 has 3.8 MPa tensile and 22±2 kN/m tear strength, offering high cost effectiveness for regular production. HY-902 has 4.0 MPa tensile and 24±2 kN/m tear strength, offering better abrasion resistance and longer pad head life for high volume continuous production.
Q: What causes incomplete curing? A: Common causes include inaccurate A to B ratio, uneven mixing, contact with cure inhibiting substances, low ambient temperature below 15 degrees Celsius, or expired Component B. Check ratio and mixing, ensure temperature above 20 degrees Celsius.
