HONG YE SILICONE’s Electronic Potting Compound for Marine Electronics is a high-performance, two-component RTV Silicone Encapsulant (Model HY-9325), specially designed for harsh marine environments. It features low viscosity, fast room-temperature deep curing, excellent waterproof, insulation and corrosion-resistant properties, fully complying with EU RoHS directives and UL94-V1 flame retardant standards. With customizable hardness, viscosity and operating time, it bonds perfectly to marine electronic materials, paired with our Silicone raw materials and silicone encapsulant to protect marine electronics, meeting global B2B procurement and marine industry requirements.

Product Overview

As a core marine-grade product of HONG YE SILICONE, our Electronic Potting Compound (also called Electronic Encapsulation Adhesive or Silicone Potting Compound) is engineered to protect sensitive marine electronic components from harsh marine conditions. Different from epoxy potting resin, this low-viscosity two-component RTV silicone cures quickly at room temperature, forming a dense, flexible protective layer. It is widely used for potting protection of marine circuit boards, electrical modules and outdoor LED displays, with excellent adhesion to PC, PP, ABS, PVC and metal surfaces, ensuring long-term stable operation of marine electronics in high-humidity, salt-spray environments.

It is non-hazardous, with a 1-year shelf life, transportable as general chemicals; other models and parameters are available, with customizable key performance indicators.

How to Use

1. Pre-mixing: Fully stir Component A to mix settled black pigment evenly, and shake Component B thoroughly before use.
2. Mixing: Mix Component A and B in 1:1 weight ratio, stir evenly until fully fused.
3. Defoaming: Put mixed glue into a vacuum container, defoam at 0.08MPa for 3 minutes, then proceed to potting.
4. Potting & curing: Pour defoamed glue into marine electronic components, cure at room temperature; enter next process after initial curing, full curing in 24 hours (temperature/humidity affects curing speed).
