HY-912 is a condensation cure two component room temperature vulcanizing silicone specially engineered for multi color overprinting and fine pattern printing. Component A is a flowable silicone liquid and component B is the curing agent, mixed at 100:2 to 100:3 ratio and cured at room temperature to form flexible pad printing heads.
The key advantage of HY-912 is its high tear strength of 25±2 kN/m, ranking among the highest in the product range. Pads made from HY-912 resist tearing during repeated printing cycles, delivering long service life. With tensile strength 4.0 MPa and elongation 340%, the pads offer excellent resilience and conform tightly to irregular curved surfaces for clear complete pattern transfer.
Viscosity is 32000±2000 mPa.s with moderate flowability facilitating bubble removal during pouring. Working time 30 to 40 minutes and curing time 3 to 4 hours enable efficient production. HY-912 is widely used for multi color overprinting and fine pattern printing on plastic toys, electronic housings, communication devices, craft gifts and stationery.

Application Scenarios
Multi Color Overprinting on Plastic Toys
Plastic toy surfaces feature irregular shapes with large curvatures requiring multi color fine patterns such as cartoon character eyes and clothing designs. HY-912 pads offer high tear strength resisting aging during repeated ink and solvent contact in multi color overprinting. Consistent ink pickup and clean release prevent color bleeding, accurately reproducing design patterns. Elongation 340% and good resilience ensure tight conformity to toy surface curvatures for complete pattern transfer.
Fine Pattern Printing on Electronic Housings
Electronic housings such as phone cases, remote controls and keyboard keys require fine text, icons and logos with high printing clarity. HY-912 pads feature linear shrinkage ≤0.3% for dimensional stability ensuring precise pad shapes and accurate fine pattern printing. Excellent ink and solvent resistance maintains stable performance during prolonged UV ink contact. Tear strength 25±2 kN/m resists tearing during high frequency mass production operations.
Application and Operation Instructions
Step 1: Prepare clean dry mold, component A and B, digital scale, stirring rod, vacuum chamber and gloves.
Step 2: Weigh component A and B at 100:2 to 100:3 ratio accurately using digital scale.
Step 3: Mix thoroughly for 2 to 3 minutes scraping container bottom and walls, stir gently to avoid bubbles.
Step 4: Degas in vacuum chamber at 0.08 to 0.1 MPa for 3 to 5 minutes until no more bubbles rise.
Step 5: Pour slowly from one side of mold allowing natural flow, avoid overfilling.
Step 6: Cure at room temperature approximately 25°C for 3 to 4 hours, demold and rest 24 hours before use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many prints can HY-912 pads deliver?
A: Under normal use, 100,000 to 150,000 prints depending on frequency, ink type and maintenance.
Q: How to prevent color bleeding in multi color printing?
A: Clean pad surface thoroughly with 专用 cleaner between color changes, HY-912 consistent ink transfer helps prevent bleeding.
Q: What causes bubbles on cured pads?
A: Air introduced during mixing and pouring, use vacuum degassing for 3 to 5 minutes and pour slowly from one side.
Q: Can worn pads be repaired with fresh silicone?
A: Not recommended, old surfaces absorb ink and solvents resulting in poor adhesion, replace directly as HY-912 is cost effective.
