HONG YE SILICONE Electronic Potting Compound for LED Applications is a high-performance two-component low-viscosity organic silicone potting material, mixed at 1:1 weight ratio, enabling fast deep curing at room temperature. It integrates thermal conductivity (≥0.4 W(m·K)), UL94-V1 flame retardancy and IP65-level waterproofing, adheres excellently to PC, PP, ABS, PVC and metals, fully complying with EU ROHS directives. As a core product matching our liquid silicone, RTV 2 Silicone Rubber, Industrial mold silicone rubber, Pad Printing Silicone and Silicone Encapsulant, it’s specially designed for LED displays (especially outdoor) and electrical modules, with customizable parameters and multiple packaging options for bulk LED production.

Technical Specifications (HY-9055)
 
It is a two-component potting compound with Component A and B both being liquid, Component A has a dynamic viscosity of 3000±500, mixed at 1:1 weight ratio. Mixed operable time is 30-120 minutes, basic curing time 3-5 hours, full curing time 12-24 hours. Cured hardness is Shore A 55±5, thermal conductivity ≥0.4 W(m·K), dielectric constant 3.0~3.3 (1.2MHz), volume resistivity ≥1.0×10¹⁶ Ω·cm, flame retardancy UL94-V1, with excellent adhesion. These parameters are for HY-9055; other models and customizable parameters (hardness, viscosity, curing time) are available for different LED applications.
 
How to Use
 
1. Preparation: Fully stir Component A to mix settled fillers evenly; shake Component B thoroughly to ensure uniform material composition without stratification, critical for LED potting uniformity.
 
2. Mixing: Blend Component A and B strictly according to 1:1 weight ratio, stir thoroughly to guarantee consistent thermal conductivity and curing performance for LED components.
 
3. Deaeration (Optional): Place the mixed liquid into a vacuum container, deaerate for 3 minutes under 0.08MPa to remove air bubbles, avoiding bubble-induced light refraction or heat accumulation in LED modules.
 
4. Potting & Curing: Pour the treated compound onto LED modules or electrical components, place at room temperature for curing. Proceed to the next process after basic curing; full curing (12-24h) ensures optimal protection for LED applications.
