Product Overview
Our Electronic Potting Compound (flame-retardant silicone) is specially developed for Micro-Pulse Lidar, dedicated to encapsulating, sealing, insulating and protecting MPL laser emitters, detectors, control boards and PCB substrates. As a leading manufacturer of liquid silicone and addition curing silicone, we optimize the formula for outdoor and industrial MPL working scenarios, enhancing flame retardancy, insulation and weather resistance to adapt to the harsh operation requirements of MPL. Compared with epoxy potting resin, it cures without exotherm, has no corrosion, low shrinkage, and avoids damaging MPL precision optical and electronic components, ensuring stable laser pulse emission and detection accuracy.
Key Features & Advantages
- Excellent Flame Retardancy: High-grade flame-retardant formula, effectively preventing fire spread, forming a reliable flame-retardant system for MPL components, adapting to outdoor and industrial high-safety requirements, avoiding fire hazards caused by component short circuits.
- Superior Insulation & Stability: Volume resistivity ≥1×10¹⁵ Ω, dielectric strength ≥25 kV/m, excellent insulation performance, isolating static and electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable operation of MPL laser emitters and detectors without signal distortion.
- Versatile Curing & Easy Operation: Curable at room temperature or heated (80℃ curing takes 4-5 hours), 1:1 weight mixing ratio, easy to stir and operate; optional vacuum degassing (0.08MPa for 3 minutes) to eliminate air bubbles, improving encapsulation quality.
- Durable & Environmentally Adaptable: Waterproof, moisture-proof, mold-proof and dust-proof, with excellent weather resistance, anti-ozone and chemical corrosion resistance, resisting extreme temperature fluctuations and outdoor harsh environments, extending MPL service life.
- Strong Adhesion & Customizability: Excellent adhesion to PC, PCB, aluminum and other metals, ensuring tight sealing of MPL components; as a professional Silicone Potting Compound manufacturer, we customize hardness, viscosity, operation time and flame retardancy to match different MPL models.
How to Use
- Pre-Mix Preparation: Thoroughly stir Component A and Component B in their respective containers to ensure uniform mixing of fillers and avoid stratification that affects performance.
- Precision Mixing: Strictly follow the 1:1 weight ratio of Component A to B, stirring slowly and evenly to ensure full integration without air bubbles that cause component damage.
- Degassing: After mixing, place the adhesive in a vacuum container at 0.08MPa for 3 minutes to eliminate air bubbles, then pour it into MPL components for encapsulation.
- Curing: Cure at room temperature or heat to accelerate curing (80℃ for 4-5 hours); note that curing effect is greatly affected by temperature, and proper heating can speed up vulcanization in low-temperature environments.
