HONG YE SILICONE Waterproof & Insulating Electronic Potting Compound for Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) is a high-reliability two-component RTV 2 Silicone Rubber, also known as Silicone Encapsulant and electronic Potting Compound, tailored for DAS equipment. Crafted from high-purity Silicone raw materials, it features 1:1 weight mixing ratio, low viscosity, UL94-V1 flame retardancy, and rapid room-temperature curing. It has excellent waterproof and insulating performance, adheres well to PC, ABS, PVC and metals, protects DAS core components, complies with EU RoHS, and supports full parameter customization (around 198 characters).

How to Use

  1. Pre-Mix Preparation: Thoroughly stir Component A to evenly distribute settled black pigment, and shake Component B vigorously to ensure uniformity, avoiding stratification that affects waterproof and insulation performance.
  2. Precision Mixing: Strictly follow the 1:1 weight ratio of Component A to Component B, stirring slowly and evenly to ensure full integration without air bubbles that cause sealing defects.
  3. Degassing (Optional): After mixing, place the adhesive in a vacuum container at 0.08MPa for 3 minutes to eliminate air bubbles, then pour it into DAS components for encapsulation.
  4. Curing: Place the encapsulated DAS components at room temperature for curing; initial curing in 3-5 minutes (enter next process), full curing in 24 hours. Note: Environment temperature and humidity significantly affect curing speed.
