HONG YE SILICONE High CTI Electronic Potting Silicone is a two-component addition-cured anti-tracking Electronic Potting Compound. As a high comparative tracking index encapsulant, this electrical erosion resistant silicone gel guards high-voltage electronics against surface tracking and leakage. It works as Electronic Potting Compound and Silicone Encapsulation Adhesive, offering waterproof, dustproof and shockproof protection. Stable between -60℃ and 220℃, it bonds well with PCB, PC, PMMA and CPU, absorbing thermal cycling stress. Custom hardness, viscosity and pot life are available.

Product Overview

High CTI Electronic Potting Silicone is a premium Silicone Encapsulant from HONG YE SILICONE. This two-part liquid electronic potting compound cures after mixing with curing agent to form solid elastomer for encapsulating electronic assemblies. This high comparative tracking index encapsulant is engineered for high voltage electronics, delivering outstanding resistance to electrical tracking and surface erosion. It provides waterproof, moisture-proof, corrosion-proof and shock absorption protection, maintaining reliable sealing and thermal stability. It adheres strongly to PC, PMMA, PCB and CPU, reducing thermal stress on chips and bonding gold wires. It has addition cure and condensation cure types.

Product Features

This Thermally Conductive Potting Compound has excellent anti-corrosion, waterproof and insulating performance. It features good ozone resistance and chemical resistance, operating continuously from -60℃ to 220℃. Low volatile content, high mechanical strength and reliable adhesion to aluminum, copper and stainless steel. Its core advantage is high CTI value, making it an anti-tracking electronic potting compound that prevents conductive carbon tracks under humidity and contamination. This electrical erosion resistant silicone gel improves safety for power electronics.

Application Scenarios

This Silicone Encapsulation Adhesive is used for encapsulation, sealing, filling and pressure protection of electronic components. It fits high-voltage PCB, CPU, LED modules and power electronics. It offers stable sealing for PC, PMMA and circuit boards. Buyers can cut field failure risks, extend device service life and boost electrical safety by using this high comparative tracking index encapsulant.

How To Use

  1. Fully stir component A to redistribute settled fillers and shake component B well before mixing.
  2. Mix A and B strictly according to specified weight ratio.
  3. Vacuum defoam blended compound at 0.01MPa for 3 minutes before pouring.
  4. It is addition-cure silicone. Cure at room temperature or elevated temperature. Initial cure allows next processing, full cure takes 24h. Ambient temperature and humidity affect curing speed.

FAQ

Q: Can leftover mixed potting material be stored for later use?
A: No. Once A and B are mixed, use up all material in one batch, leftover mixture cannot be saved.
Q: What to do if liquid separates after long storage?
A: Slight separation is normal. Stir thoroughly before use and product performance remains unchanged.
Q: Safety precautions for handling?
A: Store in sealed containers. It is non-hazardous, avoid eye and mouth contact. Rinse thoroughly
with clean water if accidental contact occurs.
