HONG YE SILICONE Low Volatility Electronic Potting Silicone, also known as low emission protective silicone gel and minimal outgassing Potting Compound, is an addition-cure Thermally Conductive Potting Compound. It delivers waterproofing, insulation and low outgassing, suitable for PCB, CPU, LED modules. It bonds well with PC, PMMA and metals, protecting sensitive electronics with stable thermal performance.

Product Overview

This low volatility encapsulating silicone material belongs to our Electronic Potting Compound lineup. When mixed with curing agent, the liquid silicone cures into a flexible elastomer, offering reliable waterproof, moisture-proof, dustproof, insulating and thermally conductive protection for delicate electronic assemblies. Compared with regular silicone sealant, it features minimal outgassing to avoid fogging or contamination inside sealed housings. HONG YE SILICONE supplies this product alongside Mold Making Silicone, Pad Printing Silicone and thermal conductive silicone for one-stop sourcing.

Application Scenarios

This silicone encapsulation adhesive is widely used for encapsulation, filling and stress buffering of electronic components. It works perfectly on PC insulation sheets, acrylic, PCB boards and CPU modules, ideal for LED displays, power supply units and sealed sensor modules. It helps buyers cut field failure rates and extend service life of finished electronics.

How To Use

  1. Stir component A fully to remix settled fillers and shake component B well before mixing.
  2. Mix A and B strictly following the specified weight ratio.
  3. Degas the mixed compound under vacuum at 0.01MPa for about 3 minutes if bubble-free potting is required.
  4. Pour the mixture and cure at room temperature or elevated temperature. Full cure takes 24 hours; temperature and humidity affect curing speed.

FAQ

Q: Is this addition cure or condensation cure silicone?
A: It is addition curing RTV silicone, no harmful by-products released during cure.
Q: Can the mixed glue be stored for later use?
A: Finished mixture must be used up promptly; sealed storage for separate A/B parts is required.
Q: Does it stick to all plastic substrates?
A: It shows reliable adhesion on PC and PMMA. Send your substrate sample if you need adhesion testing.
