HONG YE SILICONE Low Migration Electronic Potting Silicone is a migration resistant Potting Compound and clean contact protective silicone gel. This low migration encapsulating silicone material minimizes substance bleeding to avoid contamination on optical surfaces, contacts and sensitive chips. It works as reliable Electronic Potting Compound with insulation, waterproofing and thermal stability, bonding well with PCB, PC, PMMA, CPU and most metals for precision electronic packaging.

Product Overview

Low Migration Electronic Potting Silicone is also named Electronic Encapsulation Adhesive and Silicone Encapsulant. It is a two-part addition-cure liquid silicone. Once mixed and cured, it forms a clean elastomer layer. Its core advantage is ultra-low migration, preventing contamination to adjacent components. Besides this potting grade, we also supply Mold Making Silicone rubber, Pad Printing Silicone, liquid Silicone Foam and HTV solid silicone rubber for one-stop material procurement.

This migration resistant potting compound is used for encapsulation, sealing, filling and pressure protection of electronic parts. It fits LED displays, optical sensors, precision control boards and camera modules where contamination must be avoided. It helps buyers reduce product rejects and lower warranty cost for high-end finished goods.

How To Use

  1. Stir component A fully to re-disperse settled fillers; shake component B evenly.
  2. Mix A and B strictly following the specified weight ratio.
  3. Degas the blended material at 0.01 MPa vacuum for 3 minutes if bubble-free filling is required.
  4. Pour and cure at room temperature or elevated temperature; full cure takes 24 hours. Temperature and humidity affect curing speed.

FAQ

Q: Is this low migration silicone addition cure or condensation cure?
A: This grade is addition curing RTV silicone. Condensation cure electronic potting compound
can be supplied on request.
Q: How should I store unused materials?
A: Keep both components sealed. Mixed silicone should be used up at once. Minor separation
after long storage is normal; stir thoroughly before use.
Q: Can it contact optical lenses and sensitive connectors?
A: Yes. Its low migration characteristic avoids contamination, which is the key advantage over
ordinary potting silicone.
