HONG YE SILICONE Neutral Cure Electronic Potting Silicone is a neutral pH encapsulating material and non-corrosive potting silicone. This metal safe protective compound works as Thermally Conductive Potting Compound and Silicone Encapsulant. It offers insulation, waterproof protection, and friendly compatibility with PCB, CPU, PC and PMMA, without corroding delicate metal contacts.

Product Overview

This neutral cure electronic potting silicone, also named Electronic Potting Compound and Electronic Encapsulation Adhesive, forms a flexible elastomer once mixed and cured. It delivers waterproof, moisture-proof, dustproof, insulating and thermal protection for sensitive electronics. The neutral curing formula avoids corrosive by-products, a key advantage over acid-cured silicone. HONG YE SILICONE supplies this material alongside Mold Making Silicone, thermal conductive silicone, Pad Printing Silicone and HTV solid silicone rubber for your one-stop silicone sourcing.

Application Scenarios

This silicone encapsulant is used for encapsulation, filling, sealing and pressure buffering of electronic components. It suits PC insulation sheets, acrylic panels, PCB and CPU assemblies, widely adopted for LED modules, power supplies and sensor units. It reduces corrosion-related electronic failures and extends product service life, helping buyers cut after-sales costs.

How To Use

  1. Fully stir component A to remix settled fillers, and shake component B evenly before mixing.
  2. Mix A and B strictly following the specified weight ratio.
  3. Degas the blended compound under vacuum at 0.01MPa for about 3 minutes for bubble-free potting.
  4. Pour the mixture and cure at room or elevated temperature. Full curing takes 24 hours; ambient temperature and humidity influence curing progress.

Q: Does this neutral cure silicone corrode copper pins?
A: No. It is non-corrosive and safe for copper, aluminum and other common electronic metals.
Q: Can leftover mixed glue be stored for later use?
A: Mixed Potting Compound should be used up at once. Unmixed A and B parts need sealed storage.
Q: Is it compatible with acrylic and polycarbonate?
A: Yes, it shows excellent adhesion and compatibility with PC and PMMA substrates.
