HONG YE SILICONE High Surface Resistivity Electronic Potting Silicone is a high surface resistivity encapsulant material and insulation resistance protective compound. This low surface conductance potting silicone delivers superior surface insulation, prevents surface leakage and tracking. As reliable Electronic Potting Compound, it features waterproofing, thermal stability and strong adhesion on PCB, PC, PMMA and CPU for high voltage sensitive electronic assembly protection.

Product Overview

Also named Electronic Encapsulation Adhesive and Silicone Encapsulant, this two-part addition cure liquid silicone forms flexible insulating elastomer after curing. Its core strength is stable high surface resistivity, ideal for circuits demanding strict surface insulation. Beside this potting grade, we also supply Mold Making Silicone rubber, Pad Printing Silicone, liquid Silicone Foam and solid HTV silicone rubber for one-stop sourcing.

Application Scenarios

This insulation resistance protective compound is used for encapsulation, sealing, filling and pressure protection of electronic components. It suits high-voltage control boards, power supplies, sensors and LED modules where surface insulation performance is critical. It helps buyers reduce electrical failure rate and improve long-term product reliability.

How To Use

  1. Fully stir component A to re-disperse settled fillers and shake component B evenly.
  2. Mix A and B strictly following the specified weight ratio.
  3. Degas the mixed compound at 0.01 MPa vacuum for 3 minutes if bubble-free potting is required.
  4. Pour and cure at room temperature or elevated heat; full cure takes 24 hours. Temperature and humidity affect curing speed.

FAQ

Q: Is this high surface resistivity silicone addition cure or condensation cure?
A: This grade is addition curing RTV silicone. Condensation cure electronic Potting Compound can be
supplied on request.
Q: How should I store the unused silicone?
A: Keep two components sealed tightly. Mixed silicone should be consumed immediately. Minor layer
separation after long storage is normal; stir thoroughly before use.
Q: Can it be used for high voltage PCB boards?
A: Yes. Its outstanding high surface resistivity prevents surface leakage, which is its key advantage
over regular potting silicone.
