HONG YE SILICONE High Abrasion Resistance Electronic Potting Silicone, also called wear resistant potting silicone compound and scratch proof protective silicone gel, is a premium Silicone Encapsulant. It delivers outstanding wear resistance while providing insulation, waterproofing and thermal stability. It shields PCBs, CPUs and electronic modules from friction damage in rugged industrial working conditions.

Product Overview

This two-part addition cure Electronic Potting Compound is also named Electronic Encapsulation Adhesive. After mixing with curing agent, liquid silicone cures to form a tough protective layer for electronic components. Beside this high abrasion resistance encapsulating material, we also supply Mold Making Silicone rubber, Pad printing silicone rubber, liquid Silicone Foam and Thermally Conductive Potting Compound for one-stop sourcing.

This scratch proof protective silicone gel is designed for encapsulation, sealing and filling of electronics exposed to friction and mechanical rubbing. It fits industrial control units, sensor modules and portable LED devices. It lowers replacement cost and extends service life of finished electronic products.

How To Use

  1. Fully stir Part A to homogenize settled fillers, shake Part B well before weighing.
  2. Mix Part A and Part B strictly following the required weight ratio.
  3. Degas mixed adhesive under 0.01 MPa vacuum for 3 minutes to eliminate bubbles before pouring.
  4. Cure at room temperature or elevated heat; full cure takes 24 hours. Temperature and humidity affect curing speed.
