Product Description
HONG YE SILICONE Superior Heat Dissipation Electronic Potting Silicone is a two-component addition cure Electronic Potting Compound, also called silicone encapsulation adhesive. This efficient thermal transfer encapsulating material features low thermal resistance and outstanding heat dissipation. Once mixed with curing agent, liquid silicone cures into solid protective layer, delivering waterproof, insulation and flame retardant performance to shield electronic parts.
This heat dissipation potting silicone gel bonds well to PC, PMMA, PCB and CPU substrates. It keeps stable sealing and thermal performance for LED modules and electronic assemblies, helping manufacturers reduce component overheating failure.

Product Features
Our Silicone Encapsulant offers excellent corrosion resistance, waterproof, dustproof and shockproof properties. It has good ozone resistance and chemical resistance. The cured material works steadily from -60℃ to 220℃, absorbing thermal cycling stress to protect chips and gold bonding wires. It has low volatile content, high strength and strong adhesion to aluminum, copper and stainless steel.

Application Scenarios

This Thermally Conductive Potting Compound is used for encapsulation, sealing, filling and pressure protection of electronic components. It is widely applied on PC insulation board, PMMA acrylic, PCB and CPU units. It effectively transfers heat away from hot electronic cores, lowering defect rate and extending product service life.

How To Use

  1. Fully stir component A to redistribute settled fillers and shake component B well before mixing.
  2. Mix A and B strictly following the specified weight ratio.
  3. Vacuum defoaming is optional. Place mixed glue under 0.01MPa vacuum for 3 minutes before pouring.
  4. It is Addition Curing Silicone. Cure at room temperature or elevated temperature. Partial cure allows next operation, full cure takes 24h. Ambient temperature and humidity affect curing speed.

FAQ

Q1: What if glue separates after long storage?
A: Slight layer separation is normal. Stir thoroughly before use, and product performance remains unchanged.
Q2: Is this thermally conductive potting compound dangerous?
A: Non-hazardous goods. Avoid contact with mouth and eyes. Rinse with clean water immediately once touched.
Q3: Can leftover mixed silicone be saved for later use?
A: Mixed silicone must be fully used in one time, leftover mixture cannot be stored.
